Carol Ritchie appointed interim FD at Engage Mutual
Ritchie temporarily replaces FD Peter Burrows

Engage Mutual has appointed Carol Ritchie as its interim finance director following an executive shake-up last week.
According to a statement issued by the Harrogate-based mutual, Ritchie will temporarily replace the current finance and operations director Peter Burrows, who in turn has taken-up the position of acting chief executive following Andrew Haigh’s decision to step-down.
Ritchie, an Institute of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Institute of Taxation member, has worked extensively in senior finance roles in both the mutual and financial services sectors for over 20 years. Her past engagements include finance functions at Co-op Banking Group and Royal Liver.
Speaking of her appointment, Ritchie said, "I am pleased to be joining Engage Mutual and I look forward to using my experience and making a positive contribution to the future of the organisation."
Acting chief executive, Peter Burrows added, "I’m delighted to welcome Carol Ritchie to Engage Mutual. Her skills, knowledge and understanding of the mutual sector make her a valuable addition to the team."
