UK AiM-listed recruitment and talent management firm Rethink Group has announced a wide-ranging shake-up of its board.
In a statement on Thursday, the company said Steve Wright, its current CFO, has been appointed interim CEO. The news follows an announcement that Jon Butterfield, the current CEO, has stepped down from the board with immediate effect.
ReThink Group has entered into a consultancy agreement with Butterfield for a fixed period of 12 months in order to ensure a smooth transition, according to a spokesperson.
In addition to Wright, Andrew Lord, who was previously the MD of the recruitment division, has been appointed as the firm’s new chief operating officer effective immediately.
Finally, Patrick Dundon, who was the finance director of Rethink Group until November 2011, has been retained as the interim director of finance. He will report to interim CEO Wright.
