Blur Group has appointed Belinda Wrigley as group finance director, according to a company statement.

The company also said its current CFO Barbara Joyce Spurrier will remain on the board to give advice on financial and company secretarial matters. She will work closely with Wrigley to develop the finance function for the next phase of growth, before handing over to the latter in due course.

Wrigley has 15 years' experience in finance within the technology and services sectors. Previously she has worked for British Airways, French IT firm Valtech and BT where she was FD of telecommunications giant’s services infrastructure business.

She will extend the group finance function at the AiM-listed owner and operator of online, proprietary business-to-business exchanges as part of its next stage of growth following an IPO last October.

Blur has also appointed Mitch Faigen as its global head of exchange development with immediate effect.

Philip Letts, CEO of Blur, said, "When we went public we did so with an incredibly experienced management team. We are now strengthening this team further. These new appointments position us for global growth and leadership as we make blur's exchanges the industry standard for Services Commerce.”
