Mobile telephony solutions giant Vodafone's CFO Andy Halford has joined retailer Marks and Spencer's (M&S) board as a non-executive director.
Halford would be replacing Jeremy Darroch, CEO of BskyB, as the chair of M&S' audit committee.
Announcing the move, Robert Swannell, chairman of M&S, said, "I am delighted to welcome Andy Halford to the Board. As well as his finance background, he brings valuable international, consumer and digital experience."
"He will be an excellent appointment as Chairman of the Audit Committee following Jeremy Darroch's retirement from the Board next year," he added.
Halford has been with Vodafone since 1999 and became CFO in 2005.
