National Grid appoints new CFO
Andrew Bonfield, ex Cadbury CFO, to join National Grid board

Andrew Bonfield, former Cadbury CFO who helped steer the group through the Kraft takeover, is to become the finance director of the National Grid, replacing Steve Lucas who will retire.
Bonfield will take up the appointment on 1 November, replacing current FD Lucas who will stand down from the board at the end of December 2010.
Formerly chief financial officer at Cadbury until March this year when Kraft acquired Cadbury, Bonfield has held senior finance positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, BG Group and SmithKline Beecham. He is currently a non-executive director at DIY retailer Kingfisher.
Steve Holliday, chief executive of National Grid, said: "I am delighted that Andrew is joining the team and know that with his vast experience will play a pivotal role in helping us meet the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead."
