Andrew Bonfield, former Cadbury CFO who helped steer the group through the Kraft takeover, is to become the finance director of the National Grid, replacing Steve Lucas who will retire.

Bonfield will take up the appointment on 1 November, replacing current FD Lucas who will stand down from the board at the end of December 2010.
